Unit Sizes & Features
We offer a wide range of unit sizes to fit just about any need. Our exterior drive-up storage units range from locker-sized 4x4s all the way up to 20×30. We also have boat, RV, and trailer outdoor spaces. Not sure what you need? Call us (deal with a real person), and we can help you figure it out.
A good general rule of thumb:
- A 5×5 works well for boxes, small furniture, and seasonal items.
- A 5×10 handles the contents of a small bedroom or large closet.
- A 10×10 fits a one-bedroom apartment comfortably.
- Larger units accommodate multi-bedroom homes, oversized gear, or business inventory.
When in doubt, it’s usually better to go a little bigger. Feel free to use our Storage Calculator or give us a call, and our staff is happy to walk you through it before you commit to anything.
For the safety of your belongings and everyone else’s, we don’t allow hazardous materials, flammable or explosive substances, lithium batteries, perishable food, live plants or animals, or anything illegal. Units are also never allowed to be used for living situation purposes. This is not a comprehensive list, but for a list of items prohibited by our rental agreement, or if you’re unsure whether something is okay to store, just ask us.
No, we do not offer climate-controlled storage units; however, our buildings are solid block, which provides good insulation value, with pitched roofs, which allows the heat to rise and escape through the roof, keeping things cooler than a traditional metal/flat roofed storage building.
We have an open exterior lot as well as a few covered boat and RV spaces. This can be used for vehicle parking, RV storage, trailer parking, and boat parking, but our larger garage-style units are appropriate for most standard vehicles and smaller watercraft. Give us a call with your dimensions, and we can tell you right away whether we have a unit that works.
Access & Convenience
Our gate is open starting at 6:30 am, seven days a week, 365 days a year. This includes holidays. If your situation requires access outside those hours, just give us a call. We can grant 24-hour access on a case-by-case basis.
All of our exterior garage storage units are drive-up accessible at ground level. You can pull up, unload, and you are done. Our smaller storage units are just down a very short hallway.
You have options. You can reserve a storage unit online, call us at 727-797-7295, email us, or come in person. Whatever works best for you, works best for us. Our offices are staffed by real people six days a week.
If you’re using a moving company, we strongly recommend reserving your storage unit and completing as much paperwork as possible before moving day.
You can reserve your unit online, and we can complete rentals by phone or email for customers who aren’t local. The finalization of your move-in is confirmed with our office staff, who will make sure everything is ready for you when you arrive.
In most cases, yes. If you’re ready, we’re ready. However, our office is closed Sundays, and we always recommend calling ahead so we can make sure the right size is available and have everything set before you arrive.
All you need is a valid government-issued photo ID, a standard padlock if you have one, and your first month’s payment including insurance. That’s it. No surprise fees, no deposit, no administrative charge waiting for you at the desk.
Yes, dollies are available in the office for you to use. We want moving in to be as easy as possible.
Yes, but only with your authorization. Anyone you directly provide your key and code to can access your storage unit at will. For other guests, you’ll need to add them as an approved contact with the office.
For non-emergencies, give us a call or send a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as our office hours resume. Contact information for urgent after-hours support is posted at the property. For true emergencies involving health or safety, contact local police dispatch or 911.
Leases & Pricing
Always, yes. We do not have long-term contracts, and in order to move out, we request a 10-day notice to vacate.
No minimum, no maximum. Month-to-month means exactly that. Month-to-month based on your needs.
Pricing varies by unit size and seasonal demand. We believe in transparent pricing, which means what you’re quoted is what you pay. No administrative fees, no mandatory insurance charges if you already have coverage, and no junk fees tacked on at checkout. Once you rent or reserve, the quoted rate is yours for a full year.
We run specials as often as we can, and they vary by season and availability. Call and ask, and one of our staff members will tell you exactly what’s available right now.
No deposit. No administrative fee. No hidden charges of any kind. You pay for your storage unit and a lock if you don’t have one. We also offer a five-day grace period on monthly payments before late fees are assessed.
We raise rates only once per year. That increase is calculated by your actual site manager. We don’t use automated rate-hike algorithms. You’ll always be notified in advance.
Payments
We accept cash, check, money order, and credit or debit card. ACH bank transfers are not available at this time.
Yes, and we encourage it. Ask us at the office or over the phone and we’ll get it set up for you, or use the tenant portal.
Payments for existing tenants can be made through our tenant portal. You may log in using your portal credentials or use your unit number and email address to create an account.
We’ll reach out to you directly. Our first move is always a conversation because we’d rather work something out with you. Florida law governs the lien process and includes required notice periods, specific timelines, and tenant protections.
Security
Our storage facility is fully enclosed with buildings or fencing around the perimeter, multiple security cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance with motion detection, digital keypad access, and regular property patrols by our manager.
Yes. We have multiple cameras covering the property, and the entrance gate closes automatically at 9:30 pm.
Our storage units require cylinder locks. Cylinder locks are available for purchase in our office or can be purchased online. Typical padlocks will not work on our storage units.
Only you and anyone you’ve explicitly authorized. You provide the lock and keep the keys. There are no master keys to tenant locks on our property.
Yes. The storage facility is well-lit throughout, inside and out, with timed exterior lights circling every building on our property.
How Do I Protect My Items While in Storage?
Use sturdy, uniform-sized boxes where possible so they stack safely. Label everything on the sides, put heavier items on the bottom, lighter and more fragile items on top, and leave a small aisle. For longer-term storage, consider putting a pallet or shelving under your boxes.
For furniture, use moving blankets or furniture pads. Plastic wrap can trap moisture. Disassemble what you can. For electronics, original packaging is ideal; otherwise, use anti-static bubble wrap and avoid cardboard directly against screens.
Move-Out
Just let us know. Our leases are true month-to-month. Stop by the office or give us a call, let us know your move-out date, and when the time comes, remove your belongings and your lock. We’ll do a final walkthrough and close out your account.
Our leases do not require 30 days’ notice. If possible, we prefer at least a 10-day notice. Letting us know before your last billing date helps us turn off autopay and may allow us to prorate your final month’s rent.
Insurance
We require insurance to help protect your stored items. Your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance may provide coverage; check with your provider. If not, we offer tenant insurance options through the facility, starting at $9.00 per month.
Yes. We offer policies starting at $9.00 a month for basic coverage, ranging up to $75,000 in protection. Ask us at the office for more details.
Staffing & Customer Service
Our office is staffed by real people six days a week. We don’t use kiosks, outsource to call centers, or make you navigate a phone tree to get a straight answer.
Our gate is open every day of the year starting at 6:30 am. Our office is open Monday through Saturday. If you need access outside gate hours, 24-hour access is available upon request.
We’d love to hear from you. Google reviews are the most helpful for us. If something went wrong, please tell us directly first. We’d rather fix it than read about it.
Please call us directly at 727-797-7295 to ask about current language support options. Our current manager is fluent in Spanish.
Additional Questions
We’re locally owned, locally operated, and we actually know our tenants. National chains run on algorithms; they use automated rate hikes, kiosk check-ins, and call centers. We run on relationships.
It’s one of the smartest moves you can make. A storage unit lets you keep what matters without cramming it all into a space that wasn’t designed for it.
Many small business owners use storage units for inventory, equipment, and overflow. There are limitations surrounding what kinds of operations can actually take place in the unit, so talk to us about your specific needs.
We raise rates at most once per year. Any increase is set by your site manager based on actual market conditions, not an automated algorithm. You’ll always be notified in advance.
Yes, with the right unit and the right preparation. Pack carefully, use good boxes, and protect furniture with blankets rather than plastic.
You can rent and move into a storage unit on the same day. Availability varies by size and season, and completing the rental agreement should only take 10–15 minutes.
Florida law governs what happens when a tenant falls behind on rent. After a grace period and the required notices, the contents of the unit may be sold at a lien auction. We’ll always try to reach you first and work something out.
We offer 5% off for military, seniors, and public servants. We also run periodic specials, offer a one-year price lock guarantee, and provide referral credits to tenants who send friends or family our way.
